HA setup for oracle DB on AIX 7.1

Hi Experts,

When we install the Database to AIX 7.1, Oracle 11g in the cluster environment,

we could not find where we need to install the oracle, (the directory of /oracle , /oracle/client.)

Which does oracle should be installed, to cluster directory or local directory?

If oracle directory needs to be installed in the local, not to the cluster directory,

please let us know.

In our PRD environment, we have 4 application servers and 2 DB/CI servers.

The DB/CI servers are created as Active-Standby. Also, we have stand-alone

system (AP/DB installed) as a stand-by environment.

Best Regards

You can install /oracle and /oracle/client directories either into local folders or on shared volume groups.
