Transaction Group

Dear Gurus,

I have a query regarding the "Transaction group-it controls the data to be updated in the respective tables for each transaction of the respective document type".

Can anyone justify the above statement.

Thanks in advance,

Ramesh.

Hi ,

Your statement is absolutely right .Actually ,the transaction group controls the sales document type why because in your Sales Document Type OR ,if you maintain Transaction group 1 Inquiry instead of 0 Sales order ,what will happen ? just try in your system and update here .Create 1 or 2 cycles and search for that data in SE16N .

If you have any doubts please let me know.

Thanks,

Naren

You have transaction group in sales doc type(Tcode VOV8).

You can use F1 help for the field in relevant sales doc type for better explaination.
