Sybase ASE Installation Error on Solution Manager 7.1 SR1(Redhat Linux/Sybase15.7)

Hi,

We are installing Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 on Redhat Linux6.1/Sybase 15.7.

We have downloaded the below DVD's and started installation.

51042606 - Installation Master

51042607_1&51042607_2 - Export

51042609_1 - Java Component

51042617_13 - UC kernel

51042617_3 - SL Controller 700

We have not yet changed any control.xml and JVM6 files.

Just we have changed only Kernel(300).

But we have strucked in the phase Sybase Database Installation.

Please suggest.

Is there any changes required for existing DVD's or is there any bugs.

In the database logs showing zero.

We have installed all required OS packages for Sybase.

please guide us.

Hi Siva,

What DVD did you provide for the Sybase ASE DB ? Also, can you please share the screenshot of the error message and the inputs you gave for the installation.

Hi Sanjay,

I have given 51044132_1 for Sybase.log

We are getting error in phase of Install Sybase ASE Server

Errror: FCO-00011 The step syb_step_install_database_software

There is a problem in DVD'S. So we have downloaded the DVD's once again and started installation.Our problem was resolved.
