Hi Ramesh,
plz follow the SCN rules and keep proper heading as your issues.
Loading data performance is depend on the volume of data which is coming from Source. there is no fixed volume of data which is flowing business day to day.
as well if you think that any performance issues then you need follow the tips which are helpful in loading wise.
Like..Maintaining aggregates, filling aggregates, Cube compression, before loading to cube need delete indexes, after loding data into cube need to build index which are helpful in reporting wise, at DTP level maintaining of error handling options, Error stack to maintain erroneous records with out disturbing the load and some times servers will be busy. loading performance wise lot of scn thread are there. plz go thru it. process chain delaying day by day mean we can't come to conclusion lot of points need to consider which i said above...
Hope this may helps, assign points its helpful..
regards

Hi Ramesh,
You can go to sm13 and analyse and identify the particular step(s) which are taking long to execute.
SM13 gives you the idea of each step execution time and current status.
There might be several reasons why the process chain execution is taking a long time. If there is a data load delay, go to the monitor of the data load and identify the step where it takes a long time.
The process chain running late could also be due to lack of resources. You can check with Basis team on this.
There might be a case in which a process in the process chain might be dependent on some jobs to complete and the job might have got delayed.
The first step would be to identify the step where it seems to have taken the most time for execution.
Hope this helps.
Thanks & Regards,
Debashish

Hi,
You need to analyze the trend of your process chain. Click on Log view and select past 1 week.
Open each day's process chain and check the run times of your steps and note everything in a excel sheet. Repeat the same for all 7 days. Then you ill get a clear picture on Why the same steps are consuming longer times.
Do you have sufficient BGDs? Idocs are getting generated properly or not..?
Note: Every issue in BW requires a deep analysis.

Suman
