BW online links broadcast using webdav

Hi Guys,

I have a question for the portal gurus. We have a BI-Java 7.01 sp12 portal (producer) and a 7.02 sp10 EP (consumer). We would like to broadcast documents from the BEx broadcaster of our producer to the KM structure of our consumer. Looking at note 969040, it seems that it is possible to do this using a webdav repository manager. Setting up the landscape as per this note allows us to broadcast static documents (PDF, XML, etc...) to the consumer but it does not work with online links.

When we execute the broadcasting of a query selecting Online Link to Current Data and a KM folder on our producer, it works fine but when we do the same with the webdav repository of our consumer, we get the message : Error while generating or changing folder <folder name>

In the logs we see: Error while generating or changing folder <> com.sap.ip.bi.broadcasting.runtime.BroadcastingException ErrCreateResourceInKm <> Initialcause Message: internal links outside repository are not allowed.

Does someone has an idea of what could be going wrong?

Thank you very much for your help!

Regards,

Renaud

      Hi Arvind,

Thank you for your answer. I looked at the note your are refering to and it says we need to install SP06 on 7.01. We currently are at SP12 so I suppose this note does not really apply to us. Did I miss something?

      Regards,
      Renaud
