Price indicater is 'S', but Moving-average price value is changing.

Hello,

I already the price value set as 'S' in material master.

but. When GR is posted, 'the moving average price' value is changing at financial/controllling view in Material master.

This is very unnatural.

I know the moving average value must not be changed before M/L activity(ckmlcp) if the price indicator is set as 'S'(standard price) in material master.

So, I checked the table 'MBEW', but there is no value in 'VERPR' field.

I wonder where the moving average value is coming from and how to solve and correct the problem.

Hi,

   Refer note 199409  Statistical moving average price.

With standard-price controlled materials (statistical), the moving average price does not have an operational relevance, but, for information purposes, it is calculated by the system.

Thanks for your reply.

I know that Statical MAB  is auto calculated on SALKS field in MBEW table.

But MAB value in 'Material Master views' should not be shown,

because 'Period unit price's value must be on the field when price control indicater is 'S'.

and the value is usually updated after M/L. So It shoud not be changed during a month.
