Dear All,
We would like to do the sun cluster upgrade from 3.2 to 4.0 for SAP system, what is the process? I can see lot of changes in sun cluster 4.0 , does SAP requires reinstallation?
Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Venkat,
Regarding necessary upgrade steps refer to Upgrading Oracle Solaris Cluster HA for SAP and to How to Upgrade to Oracle Solaris Cluster 4.0 Using Oracle Solaris 11.
From SAP point of view follow these rules:
- have a valid backup to undo the changes if necessary,
- test the upgrade first on a non-production system,
- and only after successful testing perform the steps on productions system.
AFAIK reinstallation of SAP is not required. But if a valid backup exists it cannot be a problem either.
Best regards,
Adam
