Quota calculation error by PTARQ

Former Member

Hello,

When creating a new Leave Request, using Portal or PTARQ, get errors stating that the employee is not available QUOTA and that the day requested is already taken by another Leave Request, when this is not true.

The solution we have found is to run time evaluation for that employee. So the system calculates the correct application QUOTA and continues the process correctly. But this only applies up with solution which was run time evaluation, for example:

If it has to 2013.05.01 evaluation times, the Leave Request requested to date function correctly. After that date mentioned errors occur.

You must run the evaluation time for the correct calculation of Quota in 6.5?

Needless to say we made the upgrade from SAP 5.0 to 6.05 ..

Greetings, thanks.

in leave request we show all errors accumulated even for the leaves which are in past during creation of new leave request

So that error can be for previos leave indicating an error during quota deduction

Leave request is based on Time managers Workplace Functionality

to ensure that the leave request remains consistent and error free all

the past errors are reported to the employee when he applies leave

so that it can be rectified.

So Please let me know what is the exact error you get and what quota is available.

Hi,

The errors that appear are:

HRTIM00COLL E Error 008 HRTIM00COLL E Collision with another time entry

HRTIM00REC E Error 014 Not enough quota & 1 for Attendance / Absence & 2 on & 3 for personnel no. & 4

These errors occur even when I have not requested family day nor the error dates are correct and which are not within the selected period.

Leave request Detail:

Type: Vacation Leave

Date: 12/13/2012 to 12/14/2012

The first mistake is repeated

Mistake 1: Not enough quota 10 for pres. / Abs. License Day Flia. (9041) on 16.11.2009, núm.pers. 00003066

Error 2: Not enough quota 10 for pres. / Abs. License Day Flia. (9041) on 06.05.2011, núm.pers. 00003066

Mistake 3: Not enough quota 10 for pres. / Abs. License Day Flia. (9041) on 16.11.2009, núm.pers. 00003066

Error 4-6: Day and asked for another license

as i explained before it collects all requests

If you request an absence for any day the system is checking ALL open
requests for this pernr. So if there is any open request which is
creating a collision you will get this error.
Leave request is based on Time managers Workplace Functionality
to ensure that the leave request remains consistent and error free all
the past errors are reported to the employee when he applies leave
so that it can be rectified.

Please check if the
rule group the option "Check Includes Unposted Requests" is checked. So
it implies :

*************************************************************
Specifies the data that is included in the plausibility checks for a
requested absence. The plausibility checks include collision checks and
a check for sufficient remaining leave, for example.

Use
If you select this field, the system also checks new requests that are
still open, change requests, and cancellations that have not yet been
stored in the infotypes and have the following status in the document
database:
SENT
APPROVED
************************************************************
To solve the problem:

Confirm which absence is valid one. Leave request database or IT2001.
Depending on that, you can delete IT2001 records because later the
RPTARQPOST report again posts them correctly.
                                                                 Page 2

You can use the RPTARQDBDEL report to delete the pending leave
request too.
Caution: Please be extremely careful while
using the report, please read the reports documentation

PS : Try to run RPTARQDBVIEW for up to today and you ll
see  existing records in sent status or approved and compare
it with the It2001 for the pernr,

Hi,

Thank you very much for the reply,

The IT2001 is a database table?

I can not find to compare.
