Grouping of countries to define perdiem

Dear All,

Sorry for too many questions....

I have a requirement to define perdiem allowance based on African Countries & Non African countries.

I was defining perdiem country wise, then saw the node country groups. Can we meet my requirement by this. If yes, How ? Pls explain

Hi,

it's actually all explained in the IMG; you have to define your Country groups in V_T706O first (take entry 'EU' for a reference), let's say AFR (Africa) and NAF (Not Africa) for your use-case. Then you assign every possible Country to these coutry groups respectively in V_T706L. Then lateron you only need to maintain one entry in the reimbursement tables for each of your country groups.

So basically, yes, your requirement can be met with this. Bottom line you would save a lot of table entries and it would be functionally more transparent conerning your requirement than maintaining every single country.

There is no such thing as "too many questions" and you don't need to be sorry, but please try to pose questions more detailed. This question, in my humble opinion, sails close to the wind, because the IMG documentation is very detailed and actually answers your question. It's okay if there are some passages you don't understand and ask about them, but then please ask more particular about it than "If yes, How ? Pls explain". No offense intended, just a piece of good advice
