How do I get FP3 features in SP4?

I am currently on BOE 4.0 SP4 Patch2 on a Windows system.  Its been upgraded from 4.0 (ramp-up).  When I updated to SP4 it doesn't give you the options to install FP3.  I read that you have to go back to your install and do a Uninstall/Change to bring up the installer.  4.0 SP1 Patch2 is the latest version that allows me to get the Uninstall/Change option in Windows. When I run this...the installer (or uninstaller) comes up the with the window below.  I am not certain that I would get another screen after this to do anything else.  Does anyone have experience with this?

They are cumulative.  Everything in FP3 is also in SP4.

Hello Greg - Yes...then how do you activate FP3 features?  My question is...if you look at my screen shot...what will happen if I hit "next".  Please refer to note 1733865.  It says that I should be getting a "Modify" button...I am getting an "Uninstall" button.

Hi,

please clarify first.

You write that you are on BI4 SP4 Patch2. So your Version is higher than SAP BI4 SP4.

The sceenshot indicates that you are on SAP BI4 SP1 Patch 2.

Please state your current Version and to which version you whant to update.

Hello Seb - I opened an SAP message and will update what I have found. 

I am currently on version BOE 4.0 SP4 Patch2. 

I want to use feature - RESTful web services.  When you have a base install prior to SP4 w/FP3...the FP3 features do not install when you update to SP4.  You must go back to your base (first) install and right click in programs and features on your base install to do a uninstall/change.  This will bring up the SAP installer which will allow you to modify/repair/remove.  By selecting Modify...you are able to select the FP3 features you want to install.  I had to go back and right click on my first install which was BOE 4.0 with no SP or Patch...

What I was selecting before was the latest version of BOE that would allow me to uninstall/change.  This only brought up the  SAP uninstall only.

A word of caution...leave everything checked that is already checked and check what additionally you want installed.  Whatever you uncheck will be removed!!!
