Alert Not Triggered when Suppress Multiple alerts is checked

Hi Experts,

We have created an alert category with fixed recipients and created a Rule with the Suppress Multiple alerts checked.

However, when an error occurs we are not able to get any alert emails.

However, if we un-check the check-box, we get the alert emails.

We are on PI 7.1 EhP1.
