Hi,

I selected archiving object CO_ML_IDX (Index entries material document: Material Ledger) and archived for a given posting period and year.

My question is , i do not know what are the transaction that will get affected by this Object. Is there any prequisite before archiving this object?

I tried all the available sap notes and forums but none is helpful.

With regards,

Tony.

archiving object CO_ML_IDX archives the material ledger indexes for the Actual Costing/Material Ledger component.

The contents of table CKMI1 are archived.

Object CO_ML_IDX is used for archiving. Before archiving, you should determine whether there are any data

inconsistencies using report RM07MMFI (see SAP Note 32236) and then remove these. If required, contact

SAP for help. It is impossible to remove data inconsistencies after archiving or they can only be removed after

the archived data has been reloaded. However, reloading archived data is not recommended and should only

be carried out in emergency cases.

Thanks satya for your valuable inputs.

Can you please explain in detail, becoz i am not able to get the transactions that are exactly affected with this CO_ML_IDX archiving.

For example, by Archiving MM_MATBEL the following t codes are affected

1. MIGO

2.MB51

3.MB5B

4.MB03...etc.

so that i can analyze before and after archiving effects on that t codes or transactions.
