Change Default Error Message in Bank Page

Hi Experts,

I have requirement to change the default validation message in the Bank information page.

When the user adds a new record in the other bank information page there is a default validation message

'Please enter either standard percentage or default value'.

With little knowledge and searches I found out that the message is there in a message class that is called from class 'CL_HRPA_INFTY_0009'.

Is it advisable to change it directly change it in the message class.

or

Is there any other way.

Regards,

Porselvan

Best way is to leave it as is.

If you still want to make the change, then change the text in message class

    Hi Porselvan .

Since this message would be in a message class in the SAP Namespace changing it won t be obvious .

You can also to use implicit enhancement (Hopefully you have some ABAP skils ); therefore in your implicit enhancement you can ''catch'' messages of type error for the specific message class and number and replace it with your own message .

Let me know if you need further details on this .

    Best Regards
