Dump when calling BSP application from External Alias

Hi Experts,

I need to call a standard BSP application(CRM_UI_START) from another BSP. I want to awoid the logon screen when calling the second BSP. I can't just set logon info on CRM_UI_START, so I created an external alias and set the logon info on this instead. This however results in a dump. (Message Type Unknown)

Any ideas?

Dear Martin,

If you have XSRF set on CRM_UI_START application, you are not able to set user via SICF.

You can use XSRF OR user authentication, but it wont work parallel.

We are performing an HRSP upgrade and a process similar to what you describe (BSP calling a SAP-delivered BSP) has started to behave in the same way (i.e. dump with Message Type Unknown).  Did you determine that your problem was caused by SAP's new XSRF functionality?  If so, what did you do to fix it?
