JCO Connection Error

Former Member

Hi,

I have configured SLD as mentioned in the document and created Technical system in SLD. Then created JCODestination in the webdynpro content administrator. If I click ping it gives success message. But If I click Test button it gives error message user id/password not correct.

As per the note I entered user id and password in CAPITALL letters. Even after it gives the same message.

We are using WAS 640 SP9.

What could be the problem?

Thanks and Regards,

Abdul Raheem .S

Try with SP11 or reinstalling the IDE

Hi,

I am able to login using logon pad.

Another option I am thinking of is configuring JCOdestination to use logonticket or user mapping.

Where I have to do usermapping if I mention usermapping in my JCOdestination?

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Abdul,

What client id you are specifying?

Check whther your Client id is same as in SAP R/3?

Hi

For SP9 it should not be a problem. Well are you able to login to R/3 using SAP logon pad. Are you giving the client and user name and password correctly. Just delete the connections and try to create them again. You should not face a problem with capital letters in SP9.

Sorry,I couldn't get what do you mean. Do you mean to change the cleint number of the destination (000) while creating JCOdestination?
