What is the significance of change rule in inspection plan and how this can be mapped in QM.kindly guide me.

HI

Change number basically helped to mapped what changes/date you have done after the creation of any inspection plan.

This will help to know audit & as well as sometime customer also want to know past & current changes in the inspection plan.

If change management is applicable then whenever any changes is there in the insp plan you have to create the change number by using tcode CC01

For other respective setting go to SPRO or use tcode OP5A & OS54

Can i have an overveiw document for step by step how to map change management for inspection plan.Kindly provide me with the procedure to configure and weather this can be implemented at any stage or any prerequsite condtions are ther to implement. Kindly share.
