Hello Roman,
Thank you for the advise. I already read the article. Nevertheless the gateway should be connected already. It worked for month without any problems. After I restarted the server today, the gateway was registered correctly. Unfortunately the problem occured again after a couple of hours. I now set parameter rdisp/tm_max_no a little higher, because in the sys-log I could see that there are not enough connections available.
I hope this solved the problem, I guess I will have to wait....
Thank you,
Jann
Hi Jann,
As you may know, the error message "program not registered" is the result of the missing registration of the server function (in this case, program
TP Trex_SID_20120228124608). Either the external program did not try to register itself to the abap gateway or it failed (e.g. because the
registration is not allowed). Do you get any error when registering the program?

This could be due to misconfigured RFC settings. Go the the source system, check if load balancing is enabled. Check for the correct host name and perform test. It should work fine.

Hello,
I had a similar error and we did what is written in the SAPNote 1065406 - BWA 7.0: Raise number of TREXRfcServer threads, but after 1 one month we had again the problem. Did you manage to solve this? What kind of changes do we need to do?
Thanks in advance,
Florin

Jann,
You need to go to the TREX host and run the TREXAdmin.sh.
Under connectivity tab, you need to check the connection, check for the user account corrent and repair the connection.
I presume, the registered program is incorrect in RFC destination when compared to its in TREX or the password for the user account to connect to SAP is wrong/locked.
Post us what you see there.
