BD64 - Generic value possible in Filter Group?

Dear all,

we have a request for a MATMAS Filter Group in BD64 that should contain all plants starting with "BP*".

I have not found a help that explicitly confirms that a Filter value "BP'" is possible. Until now we have only used complete plant values in the filter, like "BP01", "BP02" etc.

Does anybody know if thos generic filter values are possible? We are working on a SAP ECC 600 system.

Hi Michael,

your requierment is not feasible with IDoc MATMES and filter groups. To achieve a generic filtering behavior you should use BAPI"s and filter objects.
