Joining HR tables throgh coding

I'm writing a program that must produce a report displaying all positions and their staffing statuses (i.e. whether vacant or filled).

The the tables are closest to containing the required fields which are Position and Position Status, are HRP1000, HRP1007 and PA0001.

The problem I'm having is the linking part i.e., linking a position to its Staffing Status.

Anyone who can help on how I can link these tables? and is there any other relevant table?
