Crystal 13 Display Issues

When displaying reports via the web viewer, there are alignment issues.  Text overruns other text.  Zooming in and out makes it worse.  The printed PDF looks OK.  My customer doesn't like the layout issues when viewing the report prior to printing it.

Any ideas?

If that's not the correct answer, can you tell me where to find this information?

Not sure - looks like SP 2(?). Make sure you are on SP 3. See the links in this document. Do not go to SP 4 as your web viewer problems will get even worse with that.

What am I looking for at the link?  It's the download page.  There are some threads related to the install.

I'm concerned about upgrading.  I'm working on a production system.  There are risks that other things will change for the worse.  Are there release notes for service pack 3?

I didn't see anything regarding the text overruns etc.  The only thing closely related was the character spacing issue.

Hello Ludek, i'm currently on SP 4.

Is it safe to reinstall SP 3 over SP 4 ?

Is there a procedure to downgrade from SP 4 to SP 3 ?

No. You will have to do an uninstall of CRVS2010 SP4 and install CRVS2010 SP3.
