Hi,
In CMC/Promotion Management trying to add remote system.
says cannot be added but no further detaills as to whty or any error code.
Thanks
Dear Philip,
Try to create a new LCM job and while creating the job select source or destination, update the remote server details manually. This process automatically update the remote server details.

Hi,
I have found 4 similar files in Input Filestore area
All similar format
lcm.cms-guid[ac90aaf0-0037-47cf-8b45-668a553a25947].list
One has latest date and time.
Am able to view the content when take copy.
Is there no danger of cauinsg corruption if changes such file manually rather than via system?
Should I create it in same folder as these files Input Filestore has hundreds of sub_folders of format a_120/..?
Thanks
Hi Philip,
Instead searching the entire Input filestore, you will get the exact path for the Promotion Mangement application from : Login to CMC-->Applications-->Promotion Management and right click and check the properties.
If you are not able to find the file with the name 'lcm.cms.list.properties', try creating a new file(empty) by giving the exact name as 'lcm.cms.list.properties' and then try testing the issue.
Also try creating another file (empty) with name as "lcm.admin.config.properties" and test the issue

Niranjan.
Hi,
Thanks
Shows the file as
frs://Input/a_120/015/000/3960/lcm.global-guid[a79f667f-2b82-4ad7-aaba-68da1d3a1f121].config.properties
file is empty.
Will look to creating empty file called
"lcm.admin.config.properties" in frs://Input/a_120/015/000/3960
and
lcm.cms.list.properties in same area with details populated.
Thanks
and
Hi Philip,
Try to check the entries in the lcm.admin.config properties file from the Input filestore folder.
Normally, this file will get updated when we add any server information in the Manage Systems option.
File path would be :CMC-->Applications-->Promotion Management and right click on this and check the properties by which you shall know the exact path of the file.
If you donot have any entries in the file, try to add the entries manually where we have to follow the a particular format to enter the values..
Also make sure that you (User login to LCM) should have full rights on that folder in the input filestore for getting it update while adding any server information.
Also please do provides us with the enviroment details...
Regards,
Niranjan.

Hi Philip,
Are you able to see lcm.cms.list.properties in the Input Filestore path ? If yes, follow the below steps:
Take the back up of the lcm.cms.list.properties file
open and delete the contents of lcm.cms.list.properties
login to LCM
and try to add the systems from Manage systems option and check
If this file itself is also missing, try to create a file with 'lcm.cms.list.properties' and peform the above steps.
Regards,
Niranjan.
