Hi Experts
My requirement is to customise the standard error messages like "User Authentication Failed" displayed on the logon page of 7.3 portal.
Is it possible to customise the messages displayed on logon page of 7.3 portal
.I see that the standard error message tags are not present in logonlabels.properties or languages_en.properties file.
Please let me know from where are the error messages being populated and how to modify /customise them.
Regards
Chandana

Hi Fabian
Thanks for your reply.
I had a look at the links , but they give more info on how to customise logon page of portal and UME properties.
I would like to know where to customise the standard error messages being popped up for entering wrong username or password on logon screen of portal.
Please let me know on this.

Chandana
Hi Fabian,
Thanks once again for your reply!
The error message 'User Authentication Failed' showing on portal logon screen in 7.3 is not coming from the property sheets (logonLables.properties) available in JAR files.
I wanted to know from where these messages are coming from and how to customize them specific to my requirements.
Thanks,
Chanadana
