Excise amount reduction in depot after physical inventory

My client carries the physical inventory in the depot. The excise amount is to be reduced from the RG23D register if the material is found with shortage.

Please let me know what is the process for reducing the RG23D entry after the material is found short or the material is rejected from the depot.
