Re: routines in update rules getting locked

Hello Gurus,

I have an issue with the routines getting locked up in update rules. I tried to write a look up for a info object at Update rule and modified the code 4 times. But when I try towite for the 5 time some part of the code got locked and it is not releasing. I tried to look in the table RSUPDROUT and found that the routine id has been locked in modified version as well as active version I. Please find the screenshot attached. Unless and until I modify this issue I would not be able to write my look up program for the update rule. all common ways like logg off and log in, switch off asistant ( ABAP editor ), deleting the routine and trying to write it again, everything has been tried. the solution would be unique. I request you to let me know if anyone of you have faced similar issue with 3.5 version. please refer both the screen shots
