Error while loading data from flat files

Hi,

I am getting an error while trying to load data in the infocube through flatfiles, Iam following the sap bw FU FU book. the error is in IDOCs and RFC transfer.

Error msg:

Error when updating Idocs in Business Information Warehouse

Diagnosis

Errors have been reported in Business Information Warehouse during IDoc update:

EDI: Partner profile not available

System response

There are IDocs with incorrect status.

Pls let me know how to proceed.

Hi Kelly,

What about the "details" tab of the monitor.

Also click the Preview button in the "External data" tab in the infopackage. It will show the data in the specific columns. Just verify in the preview if everything is fine. You can do a simulation in the preview to check that.

Also select header tabs as 1 if you are using headers in the flat file ..

Hi Kelly,

Are you loading the flat file from the Client workstation or Application server. Have you chosen the correct option in the "External data" tab of the Infopackage.

Also to get more details of the error go to the "details" tab of the monitor of the request.
