I got error message in the monitor as following:
-
Error when sending data request
Diagnosis
The request IDoc could not be sent to the source system using RFC.
System response
There is an IDoc in the Warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of the source system.
Further analysis:
Check the TRFC log.
You can get to this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In Data Warehouse".
Removing errors:
Check especially the authorizations for the background user in the SAP BW.

how can i solve it ?
Hi Guixin,
Cannot seem to guess the problem. Which transfer method are trying to pull the data. Use the PSA method and retry. You can change that in the transfer rules.

Hi Guixin,
Check for any short dumps in your BW system.
Also goto BD87 and check if you have IDOC with status yellow/red. If it is yellow you can click on the process button.

Hi Guixin,
Go to SM59 -> Select the R/3 system(it should be the same as you are using) -> double click -> test connection. Try this and let us know.

Hi guixin,
check your RFC user name. for the source system. you can do this in rsa1->source system -> Right click on your sorce system-> select change->in the tab logon n security user name will be mentioned.
Login into ur source system and check this user setting and authorizations. Better check with a basis guy.
Hope this helps

Recently even i had got same error mesg. I check out all the authorization and dumps. But could not figure the exact problem and i got this error mesg in Production and also only this data target was giving this error and all other upload were working great, so finally i had deleted that particular request and uploaded the data traget again and i could do that successully. So just check if it works out for you also.
