APO installation

Dear Folks,

I would need some information on APO installation what are the prerequisite to be added for installation, and Alone APO can be installed? Or do we need to install and integrate with ECC and BW.

Please help me to solve this query.

    Hi Suresh,

    SAP doesn't make it too easy to find information due to the sheer amount of data in the portal.

    The information you want is in the SAP Service Marketplace.  You may have to register to get a user ID.  The address is

    When you are logged on to the portal (if necessary),

    Go to:

    Click on "Release and Upgrade Info".

    Click on "Installation and Upgrade Guides".

    On left side of page, click on "SAP Business Suite Applications".

    Scroll down and select "SAP SCM".

    Select "SAP SCM Server".

    Select "Using SAP SCM 7.0 Server".

    At the bottom of the page on the right you will find all of the documents you need.

    APO can be used stand-alone.
