Just a guess, is it stored as SAPscript text? If so, you can read it using function module READ_TEXT and you can save it using function module SAVE_TEXT. Anyone know what the ID, NAME, and OBJECT are for this text?

    • In transaction SE75, you can look at all of the differnent "long texts" that are stored. Make sure that the radio button is set at Text Objects and IDs and click display. Here are all of the Objects, hightlight one and hit Text Ids, this are all of the ids under that object. Its sort of like a subobject, just for heirarchy purposes, i believe. The header of these texts are stored in a transparent table STXH. There you can see how the NAME will be used to access the text. So you need 3 things to read the text via function module, OBJECT, ID, and NAME.

So for Material Texts, Sales.....the object would be MVKE, the id is 0001, and the name might be the material number and the sales org/dist channel concatenate all together.
