Hi Experts,

We are using SAP Netweaver 7.40 SP13 Portal and integrated ESS and MSS Webdynpro ABAP applications.

Each ans every application working fine in portal.

But issues is Below Browser cache is not clearing when we log off the respective user from the portal (Example : User A). Due to this applications behaves as same user even we log in with different user (EX : User B). If we manually clear the Browser cache, we are able to see the second user's application (EX : User B). But as part me client requirement no need to go for any manual clearing the Browser cache. It should be automatically clearing the Browser cache.

Regards,

Srinivas

Hi Srivinas,

Could you please check the following KBA as this is generally our main route for troubleshooting session related issues:

SAP KBA: 1717945 - Backend is not logged off upon log off in Portal

Additionally, please check the following blog:

https://archive.sap.com/documents/docs/DOC-55337

Hi Srinivas,

Thanks for the update. Are you able to reproduce this issue without the use of the Portal?

Just to ensure as well, do you have pop-up blocker enabled?

What we need to make sure is that the Portal is sending a icf/logoff or a .dsmTerminator on a HTTP trace.

Would you be able to record a network trace and try to look into this?

Hi Srinivas,

Thanks for the quick reply.

From a session release perspective in junction with Portal. The pop-up blocker should be disabled as this prevents logging off properly.

This is also explained in SAP Note: 1331353 - Session Release Agent - Pop-Up Blockers.

With saying that, could you please test if the issue happens with the pop-up blocker disabled?

Below the steps for Browser Cache issue has been resolved

1. Log on to system ECC System:

2. Call transaction SICF

3. Open the service /sap/public/bc/icf/logoff

4. Go to the tab Error Pages / Logoff Page

5. Set the radio button Explicit Response Time
