Moving average price difference

Hi Team

I believe there will be a posting to Price difference account for Moving Average Price material when there is no stock coverage in inventory. Now what will happen to this price difference balance(when Material Ledger is not implemented) , Will this be transferred back to inventory or left in the Price difference GL ? If this is transferred back to inventory in what transaction/step does this happen.
