Filtering the values in query

Hi gurus,

I need some help in building a query.

I trying a build a query on InfoCube, this cube has a field called rule name.

The Rule Name Infoobjet has both global and divisional data.

values of divisional rule name begins with SCG*, where as value for global rule name begins with SC and ends with 001 i.e. SC*001.

So in the query I only need only global rule names i.e. SC*001.

I want filter the field because I need Rule Name in variable input sreen and in default rows view.

Is there any mechanism where only global rules could be displayed. The divisional rules should not be displayed even in F4 input help screen of variable input.

My cube has records for both Global and Divisional Rules.
