WebAS-connection from EP to BW

Hi,

I am just checking the SSO connection from EP6 (SP12) to BW 3.5

SSO is running fine, the connection test from the system object in my PCD succeeds. The WebAS-test fails, saying that the WAS-parameters are valid, but http/s-connection fails.

Accessing the WAS-URL using the browser directly works fine ....

Do I have to perform all those JCo-Connection settings described in Making Settings for SAP BW 3.5 and SAP EP 6.0 (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ab/9659400d9d1059e10000000a155106/frameset.htm) just for calling BW report-iviews?
