Hi,
in our SAP PI dual stack setup, we have 2 JAVA nodes for each server. On occasion, one of the nodes would just stop. This is easily remedied with a restart. However, is there a way for us to be more proactve about this? A way to check/alert/monitor when a node has gone down? We have alerting in messages, and when we start to see an increase in errors, this prompts us to have a look. Am wanting to hear if there are other alternatives.
The only thing I have found so far is
http://<host>:<port>mdt/General?sap-nodeid=123456
But, regardless of what nodeid you put in, a web page still comes up.
Thanks.
