    SaiRajan,

the oil and gas process is similar to the sd process with a few differences. A typical sales process starts with a sales order, a delivery and a shipment. Whereas SD uses an LE shipment, Is-Oil uses a Bulk shipment for products that are liquids. Whereas LE shipments have only one goods movement that can be initiated from the shipment Screen and Posts a goods issue against the delivery, an is-oil shipment has 2 goods movements: the load confirmation that Posts the liquids out of the departure Location stock into in-Transit stock and a delivery confirmation which posts the stock out of in-Transit stock (similar to the goods issue). These two movements are necessary because highly expensive liquids can be in-Transit for many days on a vessel for example.

I hope, this answers your question. If so, Text Removed

Asking for points is strictly discouraged in SCN. Go through SCN rules and adhere to that

Being an old member of the SCN, you should be knowing SCN rules where it has been very clearly indicated that before posting, one should make some efforts to search. From your post, it is very evident that you have not made any efforts to find out what exactly the role is going to be. There is a separate SCN forum for Oil Industry and just spend time there. Try to adhere to SCN rules
