Hi Experts,

                   I am new to PI freqently i'm getting a error "An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x14) was found in the element content

    of the document" in Moni could you please tell me the solution of that type of errors, Thanks in advance

Hi Uday,

This error indicates some junk character in XML not recognized by PI as per the standards.

Please let us know in which scenario you are getting this error (means data coming from SAP ECC as IDoc or 3rd party Webservice). Check the check the inbound payload thoroughly in SXMB_MONI, you may found out the junk character. May be this issue is coming for low ranged ASCII values like less than 20. This may create this problem. Otherwise may be you need to use encoding for sender data.

Hi Uday,

Please find the useful blog where Bhavesh has mentioned how they found corrupted data in SAP (in their case it was IDoc) and how they resolved. Please check each and every point. You need to sit down with the ABAP consultant and fond out the exact invalid data which is causing this issue.
