Hi All / Ramkee,
I just modified start conditions for WF. Workflow works fine if I maintain SLAPPROVER attribute. In this case, work item is sent to person mentioned in SLAPPROVER. Unfortunately, I can't enter more than one approver here.
My requirement is to send work items to more than one manager. How can I do this.
Thanks and Warm Regards.
Pras
Hi Pras,
Which workflow are you using in EBP? The non badi approval workflows are default getting the manager from the requestor as defined in the org structure. In the BADi approval workflow you can define your own logic to find the approvers.
Maybe you can provide some more information about the system, workflow, etc?
Kind regards,
Peter van Alphen

Hi Peter,
I am using WS10000276 in EBP.
As I mentioned if maintain SLAPPROVER attribute with a user, workflow item is sent to the user. Now as suggested by Ramki, I am going to try assigning a position to SLAPPROVER. Plus need to play with Agent determination rules. Could you please give me some tips on BAdI approval workflow to find approvers.
I my scenario there are three managers and all should get approval work items.
Please do let me know if you need more info.
Warm Regards.
Pras
Hi Pras,
As mentioned before, I have not been exposed to EBP Workflows. However I might be able to give some suggestions if you can tell me where a user is assigned to SLAPPROVER. If you are maintaining an Org. structure for workflow, it may be possible to assign a Position instead of a User.
Another option available if you are not using Adhoc agent assignment for this task is to create your own Agent Determination Rule (called Role in 4.6c and prior) with function module using transaction PFAC. You can take a look at some of the standard rules to get an idea.
Cheers,
Ramki Maley.
