Crystal Report Mirroring for Arabic (Right to Left Layout)

Hi,

We have developed crystal reports in English language. We want to convert it into Arabic. We are able to show data in Arabic. But we don't have solution for orientation. In English, controls are placed on the report from left to right. In Arabic, we have to place controls in right to left direction.

Without creating an extra copy of crystal report, can we convert crystal report in Arabic with data and placing controls in right to left direction at run time not design time.

Please check image also.

Thanks for help,

EBM

    Hi Ramakanth,

One of the solutions for this (without creating extra copy of the same report) is to modify existing report(s) to have 2 sections for each row (if it's feasible) i.e. one for Left to Right Orientation and the other for Right to Left Orientation and display them conditionally based on Langauge selected.

    Thanks,

    Raghavendra

    Hi Ramakant,

Raghav is right, you would need duplicate sections for each language. One section will hold English while the other will hold Arabic.

For Arabic, you would need to place the objects from right to left. Once you have the objects in place, use a conditional suppression formula that suppress the sections depending on the language you select.
