The legal change of Labor Code Law 23/2012, published in the Portuguese Legal Journal from June 25th, was analyzed by SAP and several customers of the Portuguese user group GUSP.
After the analysis made, the scenarios that had an impact to the system originated the announcement note 1737744.
The changes reflected on the labor code are related to the scenarios described below:
· Generation of leave entitlement without increase (majoração).
· Overtime payment and overtime time compensation change.
· Change of holiday calendar.
Regarding overtime, each customer has their own wage types, so they need to change them in customizing since August 1 to valuate with a different percentage.
The other two scenarios were supported by two consulting notes 1743540 (change of holiday calendar) and 1743538 (generation of leave entitlement without increase).
There are other three scenarios:
· Analysis of stock of working hours (banco de horas): this solution is under development.

Several improvements and adaptations were developed in the "HR-PT: Relatório Único" (RPCUNRP0). Some were developments generated from legal changes that GEP made each year, and other improvements were based on the user group meeting of the previous year organized to evaluate what could be done to improve the report.

According to Portaria 16/2012 of January 19th, companies shall declare monthly the income of each Portugal non-resident employee through the electronic declaration (XML file) nominated as Modelo 30.
The solution consists of a new report to fill the legal declaration Model 30. In the SAP standard system this new report is called "HR-PT: Declaração de rendimentos para empregados não residentes" (RPCNRRP0). It gathers all the income information available for employees of income categories A, B and H required for Modelo 30. All the other information for Modelo 30 that is not related to incomes and taxes of the above mentioned categories can be filled by the BAdI "Declaração de rendimentos para empregados não residentes" (HR_PT_NRESIDENT_RP), according to each customer needs.
