Budget / Actual report on S_ALR_87013019

Dear Gurus,

I'm in the process of creating a report in BW for the Tcode :S_ALR_87013019 - List : Budget / Actual / Commitments report from ECC , please let me know if I can use any standard datasource in BW or any standard object which can be used to generate this ECC report.

I'm using this report to get the CAPEX values.

Ahmed,

I know its quiet a task for anyone to build this from scratch

But few pointers here:

Check the program code behind this with help of a ABAPEr if you not much into coding else you can browse yourself.

Also take pointers from functional team on the process.

This way you can get a set of tables involved with this tcode to name a few  like: AUFK COSS etc.

Then you can search based on content from sap help on these table based datasources and take a decision on a generic or standard source.

Hi Ahmed,

There is more easy way to fine the underlying base tables with respect to the Tcode: S_ALR_87013019. Here you can get all the tables with out the help of ABAP person.

Activate the SQL Trace using Tcode ST05 and execute the tcode and later you can find the tables involved in the tcode.

From the base tables its easy to find the standard data sources if any or we can go for creation of generic data source.

That's also a intelligent way of getting the details w/o the help from ABAPer or disturbing the client, I'll definitely look into the details provided by you.

use these 4 datasources,

0co_om_nwa_1

0co_om_opa_6

0co_om_wbs_1

0co_om_wbs_2

to load data in 0ps_c04 cube

opa_6 is the only delta availble, everything else wil be a full load. for nwa_1 you will have to break the load in to 2 different info packages to load vtype 20 seperately then other v types.

for us we loaded all fiscal years differently in a process chain and then using a dtp to load as we needed 8 years of data loaded daily, find out what you requirement is. and how they want to define the actual, budget, plan, obligations.. etc

I really appreciate your detailed response to my query, I was doing research for the above mentioned datasources and infocube , I found a standard query exactly matching my requirements, the query is "0PS_C04_Q004"  WBS Element : Budget, I'll load the data and will update you if I encounter any issues, appreciate your response.

cool good luck with that , if you get stuck feel free to post back...also i wont go through the trace on this as the data sources runs through alot of different functional module and goes through alot of different tables that checks values on each other to pull them in.

                   I found some input for the Budget/Actual Report.The same data is loaded into the Standard ODS in BW is 0OPA_O07 as delta loads and is updated to a couple of infocubes.The data source is 0CO_OM_OPA_7.Please read the below links to get further information.
