Apache Tomcat memory requirements

Hello all.

With a freshly installed B1iF Apache Tomcat eats up about 1.5 Gb of memory. Is it normal, are there any settings allowing to reduce memory usage by Tomcat?

Dear Dmitry,

This is normal normal in a production environment i am running with Tomcat at 2 Gb of memory, Im searching info about controlling the JVM, sometimes it sends a Java Heap with an out of memory issue but in my scenarios the step is processed again
