Hi Gurus,

I have a scenario where user click back arrow to go back to the initial screen however SAP takes the user back to the SAP Easy Access screen rather than to initial screen, is this is a normal behaviour or something is missing. The t-code examples are MB51 & MIR4.S

Hi Ian,

Ideally if the user clicks on back arrow from the selection screen of MB51 it will take you to the SAP Easy access. However if the user selects the back arrow from the report output the system will take you the selection screen of MB51.Check if the user is clicking the back arrow twice.

For MB51, it should come to selection screen when you click bakc button in the report output and for MIR4 transaction it will go tosap easy access screen when click the back button.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

The user is inputting the data and then display the document and it is displaying fine, however when user click back it is going straight to SAP Easy Access screen in MIR4.

Swapnil the user is not clicking twice.

The MB51 fine I think.

Hi Ian,

That is the way MIR4 works in standard SAP, it will go to sap easy access screen when you click back button in the display document page.

Thanks for the confirmation, I was suspecting this as I already discussed this with my Bsis consultant.

However do not you think this is an abnormal behaviour, as in 99% cases if you click back SAP always takes you back to the input screen.

Perhaps SAP has mind of its own 🙂

You are correct, but i am not sure why SAP has designed in that way for MIR4.
