Does anyone know whether it is possible to put the output of a BW report (either query or workbook) somewhere on the local network? Using the report agent and mailing it is an option but ideally the data would be locally accesible.

You can use hte download scheduler (BW 3.0B or higher) or workbook pre-calculation service if on BW 3.5.

Reporting agent runs the rpeort and download scheduler then downloads this to a drive. It can download output in excel or HTML.

Thanks for the tip, but how do I get to the download scheduler?

Download scheduler is installed when BW compoenents of hte GUI are installed. It should be available in teh Business Explorer folder in your computer's start menu.

In the reporting agent, assign the output to a user and then log into the download scheduler using this user ID. Fairly simple from there on.
