IW49N does not display Material & Material Description

When running IW49N the Material and Material Description is not being displayed. Those fields are being pulled from the append structure RIH_ORDER_OPERATION_LIST.

Are these fields Material and Material Description appearing on the report the same as the ones maintained on Component Tabs linked with Operations.

Hi Robert,

For the materials which are under components tab you can see the report in IW40 (which is multilevel display of the orders).

I think this may help you.

Or, when in IW49N, select your orders and use menu path: Environment->Multilevel Lists->Orders and choose your preferred checkbox settings at the bottom of the screen.

Hello,

Seems in IW49N system only displays materials against which refurbishment orders were created.

This is what I can see in my system…

Material and Material description should display in IW49N. If there is material against operation, system should populate these fields. (click on Material tab and then click on sort in descending order). See screen shot.

I'm not convinced your answer is correct either:

  1. You can have many materials per operation and IW49N wouldn't show all these materials.
  2. I just ran IW49N which selected 150,000 orders/operations, and not one of them had a material assigned (note: we don't used refurb orders).
  3. If you look at 4003448 in your image - all operations have the same material which suggests that this is header data, not operation data.

It doesn't look like the materials shown in IW49N are the Components tab materials, but the material entered on the order header e.g. refurb orders or serial numbers. I've just created an order and changed the reference object view to Serial Number+Material (menu Extras->Settings-Reference object view) and this does populate the material field in IW49N.
