After installation, I was going to work on SAP VI but facing an error:

What's the spec of your machine?  O/S type/version? 32/63bit? RAM? CPU?

Hi Henry,

I have similar problems when using Vi 1.07 on server or on client desktop  and also i cannot share and publish dataset to explorer with error HDB 05301 (unable to authenticate the user) ;-(

by the way, explorer works very fine

64 bit OS windows 2008 R2  RAM 16Go

the note 1783894 doesn't help

Other question; How can i manage the destination folder ?

Hi,

There is a known 'automatic startup' bug for the SybseIQ instance which is causing this issue for a number of customers. (especially for those who have an previous versions installed - does this apply to you?)

Some internal settings are being modified for SP08 which is planned mid-Jan. Can you say, Do all your users / VI installations get this exact problem when trying your workflow?

I have the same problem - it works on and off ...have to restart my system or uninstall and install VI...

Be sure to go to Help > Check Product Updates as there is a new build out for Visual Intelligence - since updating with the latest 1.0.7 patch I haven't seen this error.
