Backflusing creating backlogs

Hi Experts,

I have searched the forum carefully however I am still unable to find the solution I am after.

When we do the Back flush (BF) the back logs are being created for certain BOM components only, I have checked all the configuration they seems fine but I am unable to pin point why this is happening for a particular plant and these components are causing issues in other BOM’s as well. There was no issue with the stock availability.

The child material in the BOM's are Consignment components as well as non consignment. The REM Profile and MRP configuration are standard. The REM profile is set to 002 in MRP4 view for BOM Material.

The REM Profile (control data 1 / General) settings are “GI BF at GR posting” and 2nd block Error Correction for Backflusing ticked in the “Create Cumulated Postprocessing Records” rest of the settings are blank, Cost Accounting block settings ticked in Post Activities and the Radio button for “Using data from prelim. Costing f.prod. cost collector” has selected.

The Material settings MRP2 BackFlush is set to 1, MRP4 BOM Explosion/dependent requirements block settings are Selected method 2, Individual Coll 2, version indicator ticket and 2nd block for Repetitive manufacturing / assembly / deployment strategy “Repetitive mfg ticked,

The helpful answers will be rewarded generously.

Regards,

Ian
