Clicking on email hyperlink does not open outlook mail system

Hi Experts,

While clicking on email( ) which is a hyperlink in address details of account information page does not opens the outlook mail system. Which is a normal process like as soon as we click on any email link, a new email is opened with the same address ( On which we clicked ) copied in to fields.

Kindly Suggest.

    • Some further testing and own knownlodge gives me the following solution - works perfect !

      The relevant ABAP code in Standardadress.htm after enhancing it :

      DATA lr_address TYPE REF TO cl_crm_bol_entity.

      DATA lv_href_email TYPE string.

      data lv_email type string.

      lr_address ?= controller->typed_context->standardaddress->collection_wrapper->get_current( ).

      CHECK lr_address IS BOUND.

      lr_address->get_property_as_value( EXPORTING iv_attr_name = 'E_MAILSMT'

      IMPORTING ev_result = lv_email ).

      CONCATENATE 'mailto:' lv_email into lv_href_email.

      <div style="height:25px;width:50px;float:left;">

      <div style="height:25px;width:55px;float:left;">

      <a href="<%= lv_href_email %>"><%= lv_email %></a>
