Installing BO dashboard 4.0 FP3

Hi All,

I wanted to install BO dashboard 4.0 FP3 to use its latest features. Below are my current versions of BO products. If I want to install FP3 dashboard do I need to upgrade all environment(client & server) to FP3 to effectively use the features of dashboard like connecting the components to BEx query. Is there any sequence I need to follow? Pls let me know.

Client

BO 4.0 Client Platform Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)

Crystal for 2011  Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)

Crystal for enterprise  Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)

Dashboard  Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)

Server

Dashboard Design Services Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)

Crystal reports Services  Version: 4.0 SP02 (14.0.2.364)  

Under Core Services-> CentralManagementServer Version: 4.0 SP02 Patch  2.10(14.0.2.565)

Under Core Services-> DashboardServer Version: 4.0 SP02 Patch  2.10(14.0.2.565) 

Connectivity Services-> ConnectionServer Version: 4.0 SP02 Patch  2.9(14.0.2.556)

Anand,

If this is your crash/burn sandbox server, I suggest that you uninstall the old version and install the full version of BI4 SP4 (aka FP3) instead.

Install the Crystal products first and then go with BO components and then with Dashboards...

Hi Anand,

It is always recommended to maintain the Server and Client components on the same patch levels to avoid unnecessary issues.
