how to trigger PO output type when PO released completely.

Dear Friends ,

My requirement is that ,when PO gets completely released, at that time particular output type should get triggered.

(Means if PO is not finally released (partially released) then out put type should not be triggered)

How to achieve this , is there any standard program is there ? OR how we take ABAPER help for this , any hint?

Hi Mahesh,

no need to have special configuration, infact there is no configuration required to achieve this. If your purchasing document is subjected to release procedure, it wont trigger for out put until it is fully released.

the message type is determined  and the message is created when you initially create the PO like in any other PO which is not subject for release strategy, but you cannot output this message until the PO is released.

There is no message determination after the release.

Hello Mahesh,

by standard design no Output can be processed unless the document is completely released.

Therefore it shouldn't be an issue that an Output Type is created at the moment of actual change of PO; the Output will remain in unprocessed/yellow status until you completely release the document (even with the dispatch time 4 "Send Immediately (when saving transaction)").
