Substitution BSEG-VALUT

Hi all,

I'm trying to make a substitution (GGB1), Call up point 3 (Complete document).

I need to change the value in BSEG-VALUT (Value date) with the BKPF-BLDAT (Document date), but it's not working.

I've seen the GB01 table, and the field BSEG-VALUT has the "Exclude" indicator fixed.

So, my question is if it is possible to turn off the Exclude indicator without generating an inconsistence in tables or future problem with this field.

Does anyone have another way to change Value Date with Document Date?

Hello Joaquin,

You can un check the exclude indicator for field BSEG-VALUT by going into SM30 transaction and give the table name VWTYGB01, this helps to write the subsitution as per your requirement. I do not see any issues or inconsistencies by changing this.

I'm trying to make the substitution at "Complete Document".

In VWTYGB01 or GB01 tables, for Boolean Class 15, appears the field as unchecked so it is possible to choose it at the first step in validation, but when I try to simulate the document trough the transaction, the substitution doesn't work.

In tables, for Boolean Class 9 (Document Header and Line Items) it appears checked for exclusion.

I think the substitution (Complete document) use Boolean Class 15, so it shouldn't be a problem because the field appears as unchecked.

But when I simulate the document, the substitution doesn't work. There is a Note (1399674) which resumes that if in the simulation the substitution do not run for the event 3 (entire document) it's for a design decision and it hasn't got a solution.

I think it couldn't be a solution.
