Mass upload of external candidate in SAP E- recruiting - EHP4

Hello Experts,

Need help.

Our client do a bulk hiring , where they get list of candidates . Volume of data is almost 10 to 20 thousand. They want to upload all the available data in SAP  E- Recruiting system for conducting further activities. It will be there usual activity as they keep receiving the candidate data in excel  . Is there any way to upload the mass data . Something like LSMW where they can upload excel as and when they require.

Yes, it is possible to upload such data. If it is just candidate data (without applications), you are required to create the candidate objects. If these data include applications as well, then you need to create the associated objects as well (candidacy, applications etc).

E-Recruiting works on the concept of BP-CP relationships (CP if the candidate is an existing employee).

I am not sure if LSMW will work here.. my suggestion will be to have your developer colleague do a trace to understand how the NA objects are created. Then write a program which can upload the data. To start with you can use Create External Applications services available in the recruiter role, to understand how to create the required objects. You have to enhance this service a little bit (I personally feel, that service should also create a UID/PWD , which can be sent to the candidate, who can use it log-into the applicant cockpit. This particulary functionality is not available).
